The Beginning
A pause that sparked a revolution
In early 2020, Maya Lin and Alex Chen were leading a busy wellness retreat. When the world went quiet, they found themselves with hours of raw, beautiful footage to edit — but no tools that matched their slow, intentional pace.
Standard video editors felt frantic and rigid. The timelines were endless; the menus overwhelming. Frustrated, Maya and Alex began sketching a different way — a digital studio designed specifically for the rhythm of breath, movement, and presence.
ClipKit was born from a simple belief: the technology we use shouldn't dictate the energy of our creation. We wanted to build something that didn't just process video, but helped you find your flow.
